Leeds Policy Institute presents research at the London School of Economics

We are happy to announce that we have presented our research from our 5 policy areas: Macro Policy, Social Policy, Financial Regulation, Energy and Environment, and Market Interventions at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) to over 350 delegates.

The two day conference was hosted at the London School of Economics (LSE) and included many headline speakers including Director of the Inclusion Initiative and Associate Professor at LSE Grace Lordan, Associate Professor and Co-Director of LSE100 Dr Jillian Terry, as well as Professor Tim Leunig, a multiple-international prize winning economist and inventor of Britain’s COVID Furlough scheme.

Think tank staff enjoyed the conference, using the opportunity to network with like minded students as well as academics while sharing their impactful research. We thank the London School of Economics (LSE) for hosting the event and the University of Leeds for organising transport as well as accommodation.
